MAX JACKSON / BOSTON, MA

Max
Jackson

I'm passionate about building things and working with people.

I turn practical needs into working software, connect the systems behind it, and keep improving it in daily use. My work spans an artist-built auction house, public agent tools, and shared knowledge systems.

01 / SELECTED WORK

Problems I’ve worked through.

BUILT WITH SUCHBOT

Projects I created with Suchbot’s help, extending the same agent practice into creative tools and public interfaces.

SUCHBOT / CREATIVE TOOLS

Glitch Pipeline

Generate an image and manipulate it, or chain operations on an existing image, directly in the Farcaster timeline. Without AI generation, image transformations can return almost immediately. For example:

@suchbot >> generate a flying cat | kaleidoscope::3 | pixel-sort::5

SUCHBOT / PUBLIC INTERFACES

Such Snap

Suchbot can quickly create inline Farcaster UIs using prepared jsonrender templates for guides, tutorials, polls, quizzes, and token interactions. Interactive snaps store responses per user in SQLite, preserving votes and answers when people return and showing live results. Such Snap won a hackathon award leading up to FarCon Rome.

02 / THE PERSON

Working with people.

At Charged Particles, I moved from development into project coordination, helping developers, designers, and leadership communicate about the work. At The Boston Globe, I built and maintained publishing sites and helped with a CMS migration.

I’m also a working bicycle mechanic, a former swimming instructor, and a former pedicab driver. I’m comfortable starting conversations, teaching, and helping when someone is frustrated. Understanding the person and explaining the next step are part of the work.

A lesson from the pool

An adult swimmer I met was working hard but afraid of the deep end. I noticed how much tension he carried and helped him practice moving with less effort. We worked together in short sessions alongside his own practice. About six months later, he was swimming with the masters program and covering at least a kilometer a day.

03 / CREATIVE PRACTICE

Art & daily practice

I make mandalas, abstract calligraphy, and generative art. Recently I started making a 3D render every day. The work here is part of that practice.

Get in touch

I’m looking for a forward deployed engineering role: working directly with people to understand their needs, build useful integrations, and support the software in use. If that sounds like your team, I’d like to talk.
